Welcome to Monday

I had big plans for this weekend. It was going to be productive and, by the time we went to bed on Sunday evening, the house was going to be spotless. I was going to:

  1. Finish the back part of my reupholstery project, which would only leave the cushion to finish.
  2. Rearrange the living room.
  3. Sweep and swiffer our bamboo.
  4. Fold laundry.
  5. Make bread.
None of that happened.

However, this happened:

(Can you spot the Mocha?)

I'll be better, I promise.

As soon as I get this puzzle finished.

I hope your weekend involved more than a puzzle of houses and yellow sky.

  1. Haha, I fail to follow through on my big, productive weekend plans all the time! Oh, and I LOVE puzzles so I totally understand how that took over :)

  3. We have that exact same puzzle and more from that series if you ever want to borrow any. Good luck on getting back to your to-do list one of these days. Mine's been on hold over the weekend too.

  4. I haven't done a puzzle in a really long time. It sounds like fun!! I'm slowly learning that the to-do list will always be there!

  5. Oh, good I'm not the only one!

It has COMPLETELY taken over. It doesn't help that it's on the living room coffee table... gotta get it done and out of the way!

  6. Who doesn't? I'm glad you had a productive, good weekend!

  7. I'd be nervous to take you up on that... I'm not sure all the pieces of this one are left. There's a good possibility at least one of the pieces ended up mangled in Mocha's stomach!

  8. The to-do list is always there, so it's kind of frustrating that I let this get in the way instead of tackling something. Oh well. There are more weekends, right?
